UACP has set up a VPN (virtual private network) to allow students and faculty to log on to the network and access library resources when off-campus. Before using the VPN for the first time, please consult the installation instructions for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. If you are using another browser, please contact the IT office. Instructions 1. Log in using your webmail username and password. 2. Once logged in, click “Connect using VPN Tunnel”. 3. You MUST to leave this window or tab open to remain connected to the VPN. 4. To log out, simply close the browser window.

Internet Explorer Installation (PDF version with screenshots )

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click "Tools", then "Internet Options".

3. Click the "Security" tab, and then click "Trusted Sites".

4. Click "Sites..." on the right-hand side.

5. Type https://vpn.pharm.uacp.org/portal/University and click "Add".

6. Click "OK" twice to return to the main browser screen.

7. Login to the VPN using your Webmail username and password.

8. You will be prompted to install an Active X Control. Choose the option for "Install ActiveX Control...", and click "Install" when prompted.

9. Once logged in, click “Connect using VPN Tunnel”.

Mozilla Firefox Installation (PDF Version with screenshots)

1. Open Firefox and go to https://vpn.pharm.uacp.org/portal/University.

2. Choose "Accept this certificate permanently" and click "OK".

3. Login using your webmail username and password.

4. Once logged in, click “Connect using VPN Tunnel”.
