Users with Circulation Privileges
The following user groups may borrow items from the LLRC circulating collection:
- Current UACP students
- Current UACP faculty and staff
- Members of UACP Board of Trustees
Unaffiliated Users
Any patrons not covered by the list above do not have circulation or computer privileges, but may use all LLRC print materials in-house. This includes UACP alumni, former employees, and the general public.

| Status | Loan Period | Number of Renewals | Borrowing Limit | Late Fee | Maximum Fine |
| UACP Students | 2 weeks | 1 | 5 items | $.50/day | $20 |
| UACP Faculty and Trustees | 2 months | 1 | 10 items | $.50/day | $20 |
Non-Circulating Items
Individual journal issues and books designated as "Reference" may not be checked out. However, faculty may specially request to borrow these items for a short period of time. These requests will be evaluated by LLRC staff on a case by case basis.
Recalls
A user may request a recall for an item that is currently checked out. All items are subject to recall after one week from the checkout date. The user who currently has the item will be sent an email requesting that he or she return the book within 48 hours. If the user cannot legitimately return the item within 48 hours (e.g., if the user is ill or out-of-town), he or she must notify LLRC staff immediately.
Overdue and Lost Items
A late fee of $.50 per day will be assessed to all overdue items. In addition, users with overdue items that have been recalled may not check out any other materials until the recalled item has been returned or declared lost. Items will be declared lost if they are not returned after two months, and the patron will be charged the maximum late fee in addition to the replacement cost of the missing item.
Students who have outstanding library late fees or items at the end of the academic year or at the time of gradation will not be permitted to progress through the curriculum or graduate until the balance is paid in full and/or the item is returned.
Course Reserves
Faculty may request to have certain items temporarily removed from the circulating collection for in-house use only. Faculty should submit requests at least two weeks in advance.
