Assistant/Associate Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences

The Department of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences at the University Of Appalachia College Of Pharmacy is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time, 12-month faculty position with an expertise in the social and administrative sciences and pharmacy administration. Areas of expertise may include pharmacy operations and management, financial management, pharmacoeconomics, health care policy and promotion, patient safety, outcomes management and/or public health. Experience and qualifications will determine academic rank; salary is competitive with national standards.

Duties: Primary responsibilities will be didactic teaching in the Pharm.D. program, research and service.

Qualifications: Candidates must have earned terminal degree (Ph.D.) from a regionally accredited university in pharmacy administration or related field. Additional consideration may be given to candidates licensed to practice pharmacy and who have attained additional postdoctoral academic, residency or fellowship training and credentials.
