
Dr. Robert Leopold is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at University of Appalachia College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Leopold is a native of New York City, N.Y. He received a B.S. in Pharmacy degree from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, an M.S. degree in pharmacology and toxicology from St. John’s University and a Pharm D degree from Shenandoah University. Recently, he received an M.D. degree. having completed his basic sciences in Belize, Central America. In addition to studying medicine in Belize, Dr. Leopold was an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at his medical school. Dr. Leopold has completed clinical rotations in medicine in Guatemala City, Florence, Italy, Chicago, as well as Albany Medical College, Albany, New York and Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Leopold has extensive experience in community pharmacy having owned and operated pharmacies continuously for 25 years in New York State. He has also held pharmacy positions at Roosevelt Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center both in N.Y.C., Keller Army Hospital, West Point, N.Y. and The University of Chicago Hospitals.
In his spare time, Dr. Leopold enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, scuba diving and reading.
