Jennifer Campbell

Jennifer CampbellJennifer A. Campbell is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Appalachia College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Campbell, a native of Mishawaka, Indiana, comes to UACP after graduating from Purdue University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2006 and completing a Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in teaching at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in June 2007. As part of her residency, Dr. Campbell served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Northeastern University.

Dr. Campbell is a global thinker and therefore is interested in a wide range of levels of care from ambulatory care to internal medicine to the medical intensive care unit. After spending a couple of months working in a hospital and rural clinics in and near Eldoret, Kenya, her interests in rural medicine and health disparities increased exponentially.

In her spare time, Dr. Campbell enjoys travel, playing and listening to music, just about any outdoor activity, and spending time with friends and family. She also spends one week every June working as a counselor during the Teen Retreat at Camp Arcadia in Arcadia, Michigan, the camp where her family vacationed for a week every summer throughout her childhood and where she worked during her summers while attending Purdue University.
