Bob Hillman

Bob HillmanBob Hillman is a native of Russell County, Virginia, and a graduate of Honaker High School. He attended Emory and Henry College and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy. He has held partnerships in four pharmacies, and continues to work part-time at McFarlane-Hillman Pharmacy in Lebanon, Virginia. He has owned several corporations, and maintains part-ownership in the Lebanon News.

Bob has always served his community in various ways. He served as a member of the Lebanon Town Council for ten years. While acting as chair of Lebanon Parks and Recreation Committee, he was involved in the recommendation and purchase of a parcel of land which the town developed into J. S. Easterly Park. He was also a member of the committee which was instrumental in getting approval for the by-pass in Lebanon. He served two four-year terms on the board of Southwest Virginia Community College. He is a member and past chair of the Russell County School Board, and a member of the University of Appalachia’s Board of Trustees.

Bob is married to Zora Jackson, with three children and eight grandchildren.
